Sale Cricket Club was established in 1854 and has a long history in Lancashire and Cheshire Cricket, from winning the inaugural Manchester & District Stockton Trophy in 1920 through to competing successfully in the Cheshire Pyramid in recent seasons.
In 2018 we retained the prestigious Clubmark award, held since 2005, ensuring our club is"safe and child-friendly" and has an open membership policy.
Senior training is held on Thursday evenings from 6pm at the club during the season. Junior indoor training takes place on Sunday afternoons from 20 January 2019 at Sale High School sports hall.
During the season, junior training is held on Monday evenings from mid-April until the end of July.
Under 9s: 6-7.30pm
Under 11, 13 & 14: 6.15-7.45pm in April. 6.15-8pm from May onwards

The last decade has seen major developments at the club, including the addition of a 4-bay net facility in 2006 and the relaying of the entire cricket square between 2007 and 2008, both funded by the ECB Community Club Development Fund. We now have one of the largest and best-kept grounds in the North West
