What is Pilates?
Pilates utilises slow, controlled movements to strengthen deep stabilising muscles, improving core strength, balance, posture and flexibility. It is suitable for pretty much everyone, irrespective of age, fitness levels and flexibility.
I have a variety of small, friendly classes available, from beginners through to intermediate levels. All face-to-face classes are one hour in duration and are tailored to meet the needs of the participants. The sessions are different each week and we use a variety of small equipment to assist with alignment and positioning, provide resistance and to challenge stability. Classes run in school term blocks, typically 5-6 weeks per term.
