SALE TENNIS CLUB

Sale Tennis Club is registered with the Lawn Tennis Association. We have 5 artificial grass courts, all floodlit, providing all-year round tennis.

We welcome players of all ages and abilities, and there are opportunities for competitive tennis as well as social sessions (both on court and in the bar!) and team practice nights.

Our coaching team offers a full programme of courses and competitive opportunities for juniors, and we run very popular tennis camps during the major school holidays.

In addition to Club tennis, we also provide pay-and-play facilities at selected times for non-members. You can book and pay for a court via the LTA Play site using this link: LTA PLAY

Members can book the courts free of charge at any time unless they are pre-booked for league matches, coaching sessions, events, etc. Courts must be booked online via Clubspark.

Details of court booking rules for the various membership categories can be found here:
Court Booking Rules

Instructions on how to book a court can be found here:

Floodlights are operated by tokens that can be purchased from the bar.

SOCIAL TENNIS

Social tennis is an great opportunity to meet other members and play tennis for fun.

We play every Saturday from 1pm in winter or 2pm in summer and you can sign up to play via our What'sApp group. Just turn up and mix in with the group, playing a set of doubles with a variety of different people. Over the course of the afternoon, you should be able to play 2/3 sets. We try to play mixed doubles where possible.

Afterwards you can stay for a drink in our clubhouse or enjoy the outside terrace, weather permitting!

We also run social tournaments periodically through the summer and for those members wanting more competitive tennis they can join in the tennis ladder competition.

JUNIOR TENNIS

Opportunities for under-18s to play tennis at the Club.

Children can join our tennis coaching programme, or they can become junior members of the Club which gives them access to the courts outside of the organised sessions.

Membership subscriptions for juniors are very competitive, and parents can also join at reduced rates to use the courts in order to play with their children.
