The Peasants' Revolt of 1381 with Dave Walmsley - February 24th or 26th
The greatest upheaval in medieval English history - leading politicians beheaded; a boy king's throne threatened by widespread violence and mass protest; a struggle between radical forces and those who held land and power - what were its causes and what fractures in society did it reflect - and what lessons, if any, does it have for us today.
Bar Open at 7pm. Talk starts at 7.30pm. Book a place on dave@dwalmsley.co.uk - payment £10 in cash on the night.
Each talk involves a £10 donation to the Community Fund of Sale Sports Club and when booking you should confirm you are a UK tax payer (or not.)
